Quote I’m pondering “Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” —E. E. Cummings
What good dads get away with – This piece from the New York times was so thought provoking I read it 3 times. I’m now reflecting on my own ‘good dad’ perception of myself. Ultimately this piece is an essential read for all parents.
10 LinkedIn tips you’ve probably never heard of – This advice posted on Forbes.com is one of the best collections of effective advice for LinkedIn I’ve seen. I especially like tip #1 about the algorithm and posting links, take a look!
Favourite purchase – Sigma BC 9.16 bicycle computer. I like simple and accurate. Most bicycle computers of high quality contain so many features it can take the simplicity out of riding. After a lot of research, the Sigma BC 9.16 kept coming out on top. I’ve been using for a few weeks now, if you want a computer to tell you speed and distance I totally recommend it.
Most pertinent read – Another piece in the New York Times. Ads know you better than you could imagine. It’s super important for all of us to know the detail from this article. Almost every ad you see online is targeted to you specifically. This is even more important to understand when seeing political statements and ads. Ads no only change the way people spend money, they change how people vote too.
